Port Kembla is a key infrastructure asset for New South Wales and an economic driver in the Illawarra region. The port of Port Kembla supports New South Wales motor vehicle, mining, agricultural, manufacturing and construction industries. It is the home to the states largest motor vehicle import hub and grain export terminal, and is the second largest coal export port in New South Wales. The port handles a range of dry bulk, bulk liquid and general cargo.
