BlueFloat Energy is a nimble and fast-growing offshore wind developer shaping the global energy transformation by bringing scaled decarbonisation solutions to new markets. Leveraging our team’s extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in both bottom-fixed and floating offshore wind project development and execution, we are at the forefront of the emerging global market for offshore wind.
We have a vision that offshore wind is a key enabling technology for Australia as the nation pivots from fossil fuels to a net zero future. We currently have 4 projects in Australia totalling over 6 GW of proposed generation.
The South Pacific Offshore Wind Project is located off the Illawarra coast and has a generation capacity of 1.6 GW. It will utilise floating technology and be able to generate enough electricity to power approximately 825,000 homes.
