Edmiston Jones

An architectural practice established on the South Coast of NSW in 1986, Edmiston Jones (EJ) has studios in Wollongong, Nowra and Batemans Bay.  We believe that being ‘on the ground’ is essential when dealing with regional conditions, contractors in the area and local Councils.  Our environmentally appropriate designs respect and respond to the specific climatic and geographic conditions of our region.

EJ is experienced in managing multiple projects of varying scale. The firm operates along clear well-established processes and enjoys a well-earned reputation in the profession. Directors, Mark Jones, Graham Betts, Stuart Scobie, Margie Rahmann and Zoran Micevski drive a high standard of design excellence supported by a long-standing and committed team.

EJ recognises the importance of operating as a team, not just internally but also with sub consultants and, of course, our clients. We have a staff of more than 27 people and this enables us to move resources between projects as required. 

We are a creative architectural practice who design spaces that inspire and enhance life. With a focus on both sustainability and considered design, our scope ranges from research, medical and educational facilities, multi-dwelling residential, aged care and industrial developments.
