i3net is a powerful network of industry-based companies working from the Illawarra. The network was established to promote the collective capability of industry to local, national and international markets. Being a part of i3net provides members with a highly valued vehicle for fostering relationships and strengthening Illawarra business capabilities.
The Network
i3net is a powerful network of industry-based companies.
Our 80+ members represent some of the largest companies in Australia & all the way through to SMEs and supply organisations, with over 20,000 employees.
i3net fosters relationships between members that leads to collaboration, knowledge sharing, innovation, and the ability to deliver world-class industrial solutions in products and services.
The network actively seeks out new market opportunities for individual members and opportunities where member collectives and partnerships can combine their resources and gain a competitive advantage. From developing strategy to design, construction, fabrication, logistics and more, i3net is the platform than helps members grow and thrive.
Where it all started…
When i3net was first proposed, heavy industry in the Illawarra was undergoing a long and challenging restructure in the face of global competition. Thankfully a group of local business leaders were not going to let a proud history of steel, mining and manufacturing wither.
