i3net Member Notice: Annual General Meeting (AGM)
The upcoming annual general meeting of the members of Illawarra Innovative Industry Network (i3net) will be held on Tuesday 9 December 2025. Please join us at 5:30pm for a 6.00pm start. The Industry Event will commence after the AGM.
This year there are three (3) elected positions open for nomination. Please read all the information in this section, and if you wish to be considered for a board position, please complete the nomination form and return via email by 5pm on 2 December. In the event that we receive more nominations than board positions, each nominee will be introduced via email prior to the AGM and a vote will be conducted at the AGM.

At the AGM, members will be asked to:

• accept the minutes of the last annual general meeting
• accept the annual financial statements
• elect board members.

As an i3net Board member, you will:

– Contribute to the strategic direction of the network
– Champion collaboration and growth across our industries
– Represent and advocate for the interests of our members.

Board Positions Open for Nomination

To further strengthen the Board’s skills and industry representation, we are seeking nominations for:

• Treasurer (1 role)
• Heavy Industry Management Experience (2 roles) — aimed at individuals with deep operational or executive experience in heavy industry, particularly manufacturing or industrial services across the Illawarra and Shoalhaven.

These positions are critical to maintaining and growing strong industry connections, ensuring i3net remains relevant and valuable to its members.

Treasurer Role – Key Details

The Treasurer position is a vital role within the Executive Team (alongside the Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson).

The Treasurer supports the good governance of i3net by providing strategic financial oversight and ensuring the network’s long-term sustainability.

Desired Skills & Experience:
We’re looking for someone with a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or equivalent financial expertise, with experience in:

• Financial management, bookkeeping, or accounting
• Governance and compliance
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Committee or board experience (advantageous but not essential)

Responsibilities include budgeting, financial reporting, compliance, and supporting sustainable growth for the network.
