‘Meet the Board’ with Craig Morris
Craig Morris is a highly experienced business coach and mentor. Founder of Creativity Leadership, Craig brings a wealth of business experience having worked in corporate, government and multinational organisations for over 30 years. He has been a i3net member for a number of years and 6 months ago joined the i3net Board where he brings his empathetic, collaborative and outcomes focussed leadership style.
Why did you join the i3net Board? How long have you served?
The i3net is by far the most effective and beneficial business networking group I have been involved with. The network provides a wonderful service to its members and business across the region, providing relevant and current information as well as valuable business connections. I joined the board to support the growth and continuing success of the network and its members.
What is your background/expertise?
My business provides Leadership Coaching and Consulting services to businesses. We work with clients to create alignment within their leaders, build high performing teams and develop a supportive and productive culture. We have helped thousands of leaders improve their leadership skills including areas such as engagement, communication and resilience. We pride ourselves on tailoring our solutions to the needs of our clients. Our solutions are based on many years of global commercial leadership experience.

What makes you proud of i3net?
The quality of the members and the connections we make along the way to foster successful business opportunities across the region and beyond.
What is something that most people don’t know about i3net?
The network has both large and small businesses in its membership. This ranges from the large corporates through businesses of all sizes who provide products and services of businesses that service those organisations. The network is very inclusive with a diverse range of attendees at meetings and events.
What needs has i3net filled across the years?
The network’s primary focus is to connect businesses with each other and add value through opening and communicating opportunities across the Illawarra. Through their involvement in i3net, members have been able to increase their connections and share valuable business opportunities.
How has i3net grown and changed?
In the 3 years I have been involved with i3net, the membership has grown with a more diverse range of businesses from around the region getting involved. We have seen a variety of events where major businesses and government organisations have presented. These have provided enormous value to our members through a deeper understanding of the opportunities as well as progress with key initiatives and projects.
What has been your greatest achievement during your time on the Board?
I’m in my first 6 months as a board member so my focus has been on developing a broader understanding of the board activities, offering ideas and using my experience to support the board in delivering a quality service to our members.
