i3net Member Spotlight with Ray McCrimmon

Meet Ray McCrimmon, proud i3net member, experienced security manager, and local business owner of Illawarra Security Guards. ISG provide local, experienced security professionals, who are extensively trained and heavily screened, delivering security needs across corporate, private, asset protection and out of hours security response.

Ray gets industry and has spent over 20 years working in mining. He also gets people – he’s honest and genuine and loves a good chat and connecting with people.

The non-coffee drinker (never had a cup in his life!), joined i3net in 2019 after attending an i3net Beer & Pizza night with his wife Debbie.

I realised this was a casual way to meet and chat to all levels of local companies.

Ray found this type of networking refreshing and instantly felt welcome.

It was a relaxed and honest atmosphere, and obvious from the get-go that even the smallest security company was able to interact and feel welcome, I love it and still do.

It’s in this open and comfortable environment created by i3net that real work opportunities and relationships flourish.

Outside of work, one of Ray’s favourite roles is that of Grandad to his three beautiful grandchildren.
