ANSTO Site Tour

The i3net’s efforts to promote the capability of Industry in the Illawarra continued last Thursday with a member/corporate partner visit to ANSTO at Lucas Heights. Members travelled to ANSTO via a Warrigal Charters Bus and were given presentations on the facility, their current and upcoming Capital Works Program and their procurement supply system. The visit concluded with a tour of the OPAL Research Reactor and the Bragg Institute. The site tour finished off a busy year for the Engineering Network which will start 2016 with a site tour to the Woodlawn Mine in February and a visit to the region by the Bylong Coal Project in March.
